The thumb cluster has eight keys on each side. The top row uses regular switches, while the bottom row and tip use low-profile switches.
We tested it extensively to make sure everyone, no matter their hand size or thumb flexibility, can comfortably reach at least five keys.
Based on your hand size and the flexibility of your thumbs, the keys you can reach may vary. Check out the next diagram for a more detailed illustration!
The thumb cluster serves as a valuable tool for rearranging hard-to-reach keys, including shift, enter, backspace, and modifiers. Furthermore, it reduces reliance on the pinky finger, making it comfortable to navigate through different layers.
