What’s happening?
The right side fails to connect wirelessly to the Neuron plugged into the left side. The right side will glow red to notify you something went wrong.
This can happen in two situations:
- You haven't paired your Defy to the computer
- You've already paired your Defy to the computer
How to fix it?
Scenario 1: You haven't paired your Defy to the computer
- Press the top left key highlighted in yellow (where the Esc is usually located).
- Wait a few seconds, and the right side will reconnect. If the right-side lights are off, tap on any key, and the lights will turn on.
Scenario 2: You've already paired your Defy to the computer
- Ensure you have configured the “Bluetooth Pairing Mode” key on the left side of the Defy.
- Find it here on "Single View" menu:

- Find it here on "Single View" menu:
- Connect the Defy to your computer via Bluetooth mode. The left side will take 1-3 seconds to connect to the computer, but the right side will keep glowing red.
- Tap the “Bluetooth Pairing Mode”. Now the whole keyboard will go to the pairing mode.
- Press the top left key highlighted in yellow (where the Esc is usually located).
- Wait a few seconds, and the right side will reconnect. If the right-side lights are off, tap on any key, and the lights will turn on.
In the GIF you can see the following happening:
- The right side is glowing red.
- Press the “Bluetooth Pairing Mode” key.
- Press the top left corner key.
- The keyboard reconnects after a couple of seconds.
