As soon as you open Bazecor, you’ll find the “Keyboard selector” menu. In it, you can see the Dygma devices connected to the computer and choose which you want to configure. Also, you can select a virtual keyboard if you want to test it with another model. To do so, choose “Create a virtual keyboard” and follow the instructions.
Click “Configure” on the desired device to open the layout editor. Your current setup will be displayed.
Click on the key you want to modify and enter the new functions. You can also turn the key into a shortcut by adding modifiers using the menu at the bottom of the display keyboard.
You can also modify the different layers using the cascade menu at the top left corner of the editor.
You can create layers with different functions. By default, the second layer contains all the commands missing from a 100% keyboard, but you can go further and create layers with almost any function you can imagine.
When you’re done making the improvements, don’t forget to click “Save changes” at the top right corner when you finish. Otherwise, the modifications won’t translate to the keyboard.
