The tightness of the joint was made just tight enough so that people don’t have a hard time detaching both halves. The magnets have just the right amount of force to hold the sides together.
If you would like the joint to be “tighter”, you can do so by removing the keycaps 6, T, G, B, &, Y, H, and N, and tightening the screws found on the top metal panel.
Make sure to do this gently!
You don’t want to overdo it and bend the joint piece.
