Shift to Layer is a key used to change from one layer to another one.
Shift to Layer works by pressing and holding the key. While holding it, you’ll be able to use any key on the layer you've shifted to. Once you release it, you’ll go back to the initial layer.
How to configure it:
Step 1: Select the key that you want to have the Shift to Layer function.
Step 2: In the Key Config Menu, select the Layer # you want to change to.
For example, if you are in Layer 0 and you configure a key to be Shift to Layer 1, when you press and hold that key, the layer will change to Layer 1 and all the keys in Layer 1 will be activated. Once you let go of that key, you will be brought back to Layer 0.
Important:
The key that's assigned as 'Shift to Layer' on Layer 0, needs to be Transparent or 'TRANS' once on Layer 1.
