Currently on the Raise, there is no clear visual representation to notify users when the CAPSLOCK key has been activated. We are still working on this feature.*
*There is currently a beta version of the CapsLock feature with the latest Firmware update 0.2.2."
However, there is a workaround to do this.
This is simply a hack that requires you to make two almost identical layers: one that has Uppercase letters with a bright color CAPSLOCK key and the other with Lowercase letters with a normal color CAPSLOCK key.
Let's say for example you have your Default layer on Layer 0 and your Capslock layer is Layer 2.
What you need to do:
Step 1
Open Bazecor. On Layer 0, where you have all the default keys, select the CAPSLOCK key, and change its function to Move to Layer 2.
Step 2
Go to Layer 2 and press the upper right button that says "Copy from layer...": and select Layer 0, then press OK.
Now Layer 2 will be identical to Layer 0.
Step 3
On Layer 2, select the Move to 2 key, and change it to Move to Layer 0. This way, every time you press that key, you will move back and forth between Layer 0 and Layer 2.
Step 4
Time for the fun part. Select each letter starting with Q, and check the SHIFT checkbox for each key.
All alpha keys on your Layer 2 should now be in uppercase.
Step 5
Now, it's time to select a different and bright color for your Move to Layer key. This color will be a visual reminder for you that you are in the "Capslock" layer or Layer 2.
Step 6
Lastly, select "Save changes" in the lower right corner of Bazecor.
And that's it. Now, every time you press the CAPSLOCK key, you will move to the Capslock layer (Layer 2) and the LED on the key will change color. To return to your default layer, you would need to press the CAPSLOCK key again.
*Please note that you have to be on your Custom lighting on the keyboard itself for this to work. Press the right Dygma key on your keyboard to toggle between Custom lighting > Rainbow > Breathing > Stalker > Back to Custom lighting.
