The 2x 20cm USB-C to USB-C cables are used to connect the Neuron to the keyboard.
The reason these cables don’t power up the Neuron is because they weren't designed for that function. It has been designed to only connect the Neuron to the keyboard.
We designed the USB-C to C cables to be lightweight and flexible. We've accomplished this by having the wires needed for the Neuron to communicate with each side of the Raise keyboard.
On the other hand, the 50cm USB-C to C cable that we're now offering (as of December 9, 2020) can also be used to plug into your computers as well as to connect the Neuron to one side of the keyboard.
The new 50cm USB-C to C cable and the 1.5m USB-A to USB-C are stiffer and heavier. This physical characteristic is inevitable with cables that have full power functionalities.
