For Bazecor version 1.0.0 and later:
- Every time you click on "Save", a full backup of your layers, Superkeys, and Macros is saved to your computer. You need to make changes to your layout to be able to Save:
- To restore a backup, go to the "Preferences tab", click on "Restore Backup", and select the backup file from your folder:
- To save layers individually, go to the "Layout Editor" tab, click on Layer Settings (the gear icon ⚙️), click on "Share selected layer", and save the L1.json file in the desired folder.
- To restore an individual layer, follow the same steps, but select "Load single layer", and choose the L1.json file.
For Bazecor version 0.2.4:
To save/backup your layers, click on the Upload button on the upper right side of Bazecor:
Then select a location and file name for the backup file.
To restore your layers, click on the arrow down button on the upper right side of Bazecor:
Then look for the file location and name where you saved your backup.
For Bazecor 0.2.2 or earlier:
To save your layers:
1. Connect the Raise keyboard.
2. Open Bazecor.
3. Click Connect.
4. Select your first layer or the layer you want to copy now.
5. Click on "Import/Export current layer".
6. Click on "Copy to clipboard" > "OK".
7. Open a new document and paste (Ctrl+V).
8. Save the Document as "Layer 0" or "Layer X" where X is the layer number you selected in Step 4.
- Repeat steps 4 to 8 for every layer, until you have a separate document for every layer you need to save.
To restore your saved layers:
1. Connect the Raise keyboard.
2. Open Bazecor.
3. Click Connect.
4. Select your first layer or the layer you want to restore.
5. Open the document "Layer 0" or "Layer X" where X is the layer you selected in Step 4.
6. Select all text in the document (Ctrl+A can work).
7. Copy all text (Ctrl+C).
8. Close the document.
9. Click on "Import/Export current layer".
10. Click on "Paste from clipboard" > "OK".
11. Click "Save changes"
- Repeat steps 4 to 11 for every layer, until you've restored every layer you need.
