This used to happen with some Linux versions, but it has now been solved with the latest Bazecor and firmware version 0.3.1.
Please update your Bazecor and firmware to version 0.3.1 or newer to fix this.
When running Bazecor for the first time in Linux, it will check if you have the required UDev rules installed. If you haven't got them, Bazecor will ask you with a sudo elevation message to allow their installation. Please accept it so Bazecor has the right permissions.
If you don't see this prompt, or the automatic installation isn't working for you, you can also add your user to the uucp group in order for it to access ttyAMC0.
usermod -a -G uucp <username>
Then log out and log back in again.
