Wireless Preferences
There are different settings you can configure regarding wireless in Bazecor's preferences.
Under the subsection RF Settings, you'll find two different options:
- Reconnect sides: If you press this button with the keyboard connected wired, it will change the RF channel for the communication between the neuron and the sides of the keyboard. It is helpful to pair a new neuron to the keyboard's sides or in case of interference with other wireless devices.
- Radio signal intensity: You can set the strength of the radio signal to Low, Medium or High. The stronger the signal, the further you can take your keyboard from the computer, but also the higher the power consumption.
You can also configure True Sleep and Battery Saving mode under the Battery Management section of the preferences.
- Energy-saving mode will gradually lower the brightness of your LEDs when the battery level reaches 50%. This behavior is set by default at 15%.
- True Sleep will put the sides of your keyboard in deep sleep once the set amount of time has elapsed after your LEDs turn off. This mode saves a moderate amount of battery when the keyboard is idle for long periods, like at night. Keep in mind that to wake the keyboard from True Sleep, you need to press any alphanumeric key on each side. The keyboard will blink red briefly before reconnecting.
