When the keyboard pulses red, it means that it's not connecting to the Neuron. It's probably because the Neuron is not properly connected to the computer, but it could also be that the sides are not correctly connected to the Neuron.
Try the following:
- Make sure that your keyboard is connected correctly. Connect the Neuron to the computer and the keyboard sides to the Neuron. Never connect the sides of the keyboard directly to the computer.
- Try connecting only the Neuron to the computer and see if Bazecor recognizes the keyboard. Make sure you're connecting it through the side of the Neuron with only one port.
- Use USB ports directly connected to your motherboard; avoid front USB ports, HUBs, or monitor ports.
- Try different USB ports on your computer, both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0.
- Try different cables, including USB C to C and C to A cables.
- Try with and without a USB hub or the USB C to A adaptor.
- Test the Neuron on another computer with Bazecor. If it works there, something about your main computer's configuration is causing the issue.
- Ensure that you are using the original Dygma cables. You need to use the short cables to connect the sides of the keyboard to the Neuron.
- Check your system's device manager to see if there's any issue with the COM ports.
- Make sure that you're allowing the Neuron to connect; a pop-up might appear when you first connect it, asking for such permission.
